Founded in 2008, Erna Frac Sand is a sand proppant manufacturer that provides frac sand for pressure pumping applications. Erna is uniquely positioned to serve both the Eagle Ford Shale and the Permian Basin oil and gas plays. The company began producing sand in 2010 and its customers include several leading E&P operators in both the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin areas. Casey Sand Ventures (controlled by Darren Casey) is one of the founders and original investors in Erna.
